The service
Rest in Petty is a humor and digital-creation service. It does not provide funeral, medical, therapeutic, legal, crisis, or professional grief services. Memorials are generated for entertainment and personal expression.
Who may use it
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. Purchases must be made by an adult or with the authorization of a parent or legal guardian.
Your content and conduct
You retain ownership of text you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to process it in your browser and provide the requested output. You are responsible for what you enter, publish, or share.
You may not use the service to harass, threaten, impersonate, defame, violate privacy, expose sensitive information, infringe intellectual-property rights, distribute malware, commit fraud, or break applicable law. Do not create memorials about real deaths in a way that exploits, deceives, or targets grieving people.
Digital purchases
The Deluxe Mourning Kit is a one-time digital purchase, not a subscription. Stripe processes the payment. The current price and included files are shown before checkout. Applicable taxes may be added by Stripe where configured or legally required.
Digital access is provided after successful payment and return from Stripe Checkout. Save your files promptly. Browser clearing, device changes, or private-browsing settings can remove locally stored purchase state.
Intellectual property
The Rest in Petty name, site design, original illustration, writing, templates, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Your purchased output may be used personally and shared socially. You may not resell the templates, reproduce the service, remove brand attribution from free assets, or claim our site materials as your own.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not promise that the site will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every browser or device.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from a paid transaction will not exceed the amount you paid for that transaction. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
